If you’re a woman who has experienced human trafficking and violence, you know how difficult it can be to find a safe place to heal. You may have been told to just “get over it” or “move on” but that’s easier said than done.

Here are the steps you need to follow to also get 1. A safe place for women to heal 2. Providing resources for resilience 3. Creating a community of support:

1. We are not broken, we are becoming.

2. We have the answers within us.

3. We can create heaven on Earth.

1. We are not broken, we are becoming.

The first step to understanding that we are not broken, but rather becoming, is to begin questioning why it is that children are hurt by those who are meant to love and care for them. This can be done through personal reflection, or by talking with others who have experienced similar journeys. Asking questions and seeking out answers is key to beginning to understand the role that trauma plays in our lives and how we can begin to heal from it. Once we have a better understanding of the role that trauma plays in our lives, we can begin to take steps towards healing and becoming the best versions of ourselves.

There are many reasons why children are hurt by those who are meant to love and care for them. One reason is that the adults in their lives may have experienced trauma themselves and are not yet healed. This can leave them feeling angry, resentful, and even abusive towards those who are close to them. Another reason is that some adults simply do not have the skills or knowledge necessary to properly care for a child. This can lead to neglect or even abuse. No matter what the reason is, it is important to remember that we are not broken, but rather becoming. We can begin to heal from the trauma that has been inflicted on us by taking steps to understand it and by seeking out help from those who can support us. With time, patience, and self-compassion, we can become the best versions of ourselves.

2. We have the answers within us.

We have the answers within us. In order to find the answer to the question, “Why is it that children are being hurt by those who are meant to love them and keep them safe?”, we need to look within ourselves. We each have our own unique experiences and perspectives, which can help us to understand the answer to this question. In order to find the answer within ourselves, we need to be willing to explore our own personal history and experiences. We may need to talk to other people who have similar experiences, or read books or articles that can provide new insights. It is also important to be open to new ways of thinking, and to be willing to change our beliefs if we find that they are no longer serving us. By taking the time to look within ourselves, we can begin to understand the answer to the question and begin to find ways to heal the trauma that has been inflicted on us. This can help us to move forward in our lives and create a better future for ourselves and for our families.

It is important to remember that we are not alone in this journey. There are others who have gone before us and who are walking alongside us. We can learn from their experiences and wisdom, and we can find strength in knowing that we are not alone. There are many resources available to us, and we should reach out for help when we need it. There are hotlines, therapists, support groups, and other resources that can help us to heal and to find the answers we are looking for. We should not be afraid to ask for help, and we should reach out for help when we need it.

3. We can create heaven on Earth.

Dr. Kelly Bohnhoff experienced a deep devotion to vulnerable children, teens, adults, and families from her earliest childhood. This led her to question why children were being hurt by those who were meant to love them and keep them safe. As she navigated her way through childhood adversity, she began to seek out answers to this question. This led her to a career in helping traumatized families as a PhD, registered Nurse, Marriage and Family Therapist, nationally Certified Trauma and Resilience Therapist, certified Legal Nurse Consultant and Cofounder of Josephine’s Clinic, a nonprofit serving those who have experienced human trafficking and violence. Through her personal and professional experiences, she discovered the key ingredient to healing trauma in children, adults, couples, and families. She is now the author of an upcoming book, Beyond Trauma Drama cultivating the Sacred Nature of Families to Heal. In her book, she shares her knowledge about the power that each of us has not only to heal ourselves, but our children, families, relationships, communities, and the world.

When she began her work with families, Dr. Bohnhoff quickly realized that the key to healing trauma is connection. Through her years of experience, she has seen how connection can help people to heal from the most traumatic of experiences. She has also seen how the lack of connection can lead to further trauma and hurt. It is for this reason that she is so passionate about helping families to connect with each other in a deeper way. She believes that when we are truly connected with each other, we can create heaven on Earth.
